Thursday, the championships will kick of! Joris Kemperman, head organisation: “Thanks to the efforts of many people and the incredible support of our sponsors last years edition was a success.

Now, in the second year, we have a year’s foundation to build upon. An important adjustment for the visitors is for example the scheduling of longer breaks. This allows everyone to take their time for a sanitary stop or have a snack or a drink between the dressage tests.  The catering has been expanded and has become more varied, so that the long waiting periods will be reduced and visitors will find menus for all tastes.

Looking at the program in the arena, we have planned a more extensive program in the second ring, a class specially for stallions and a Small Tour competition featuring a freestyle to music on Friday night in the main arena. On Saturday night, the EDS-auction takes place, which was a tremendous success last year. Following the auction visitors can enjoy an exiting clinic. But at a studbook affiliated event, the leading role is reserved for the talented young dressage horses in the world championships.”
