Gold medal and two time bronze medal winner Kirsten Brouwer is looking forward to the World Championships on her home country. “The World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses is a unique opportunity for the Netherlands: we can present our breeding and sports in our own country, at our own National Equestrian Centre where sports and breeding come together with the KWPN and KNHS at one location. I am very excited and proud that the Netherlands has the chance to organise this. I have received medals in Germany and I hope to achieve this in my own country as well. It is a true World Championship where the best young horses of all age categories compete and it is a challenge to participate with one of my talents. It promises to be a thrilling competition. I do not know the five-year-olds yet and I am very curious to see what talents this category will bring this year. For the horses that competed last year it is exciting to see if they will live up to the expectations.

The World Breeding Championships is very educational for young horses, they experience a professional, big competition with vibrant surroundings. I am looking forward to it!”
