In addition to the international classes, there was some national dressage at the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses as well. The Onori Young Talent squad formation. The battle was on in the classes Children, Juniors, Young Riders and U25. The U25 was won by Marijke van Giessen and Esther SVN (GLOCK’s Voice x Jazz). The pair moved to 66.282%, besting three other combination in the class.
Twelve Young Riders lined up for the start today and the highest score (68.284%) was awarded to Maud Hofland and Urbanus (Gribaldi x Welt Hit II). In the junior class it was Micky Schelstraete who steered her Grand-Charmeur (Apache x Gestion Cocktail) to the victory: 72.172%. Children-participant Amber Schelstraete grabbed the lead with Burberry (s.Lord Loxley) (69.551%). Burberry, who won silver at the 2016 Paralympic Games, has been with Amber since last year. Finally, Jonna Schelstraete-van den Ham was the one to win the Big Tour with Cupido (s.Tuschinski).
