Eva Moller – So Unique<\/p><\/div>\n

Earlier today, Eva M\u00f6ller steered her five-year-old Valverde to a second place in the WC-qualification, in the four-year-old class she grabbed the win with So Unique. And where triple world champion Sezuan sired the 5-year-old winner Secret, he has another son in So Unique. So Unique (ds.Donnerhall, bred by W. Klausing) excelled in his expressive trot (9), spacious walk (9.7) and scored an 8 for canter. With an 8.8 for submission and a 9.4 for perspective, the total came up to a winning 9.14. Emmelie Scholtens saddled up her Negro-son Kevin Costner Texel (ds.Jazz) and reached a score of 8.96. The by W.T. van der Linde bred stallion, trotted for a 9, walked for an 8.6 and impressed with his uphill canter: 9.5. An 8.7 for submission and a 9 for perspective completed the score. Conn Bennet followed in place three with his own Game On: trot 8.6, walk 8.4, canter 8.8, submission 8 and an 8.5 for perspective.<\/p>\n

The jury was pleased with quality of the four-year-old horses, that performed their test with two combinations in the arena simultaneously. Ulrike Nivelle: \u201cWe have seen very high quality today. A group of combinations that all performed the test in lovely manner. This makes it really nice to judge it, we have enjoyed ourselves. The pairs of horses together in the arena worked really well. The horses do not feel alone, having a partner on the side. Most were very relaxed. A four-year-old by itself in such a big arena, might have been too much to ask.\u201d Fellow judge Annette Fransen-Iacobaeus adds: \u201cWe have seen some super talents today, so we expect an exciting final. Hopefully, we see many of these horses back at the coming World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses. The ultimate winner today was So Unique. So Unique has that something extra, what a fabulous horse. Amazing, being both expressive and relaxed in all his gaits.<\/p>\n
