Feodoro<\/p><\/div>\n

The intermediate ranking of the six-year-olds has a new leader: Feodoro with Simone Pearce. The Hannoverian Furstenball-son scored the first 10 of the six-year-olds today. His Australian rider is in the fourth position in the category for 5-year-olds with the Conen-descendant Casablanca (ds. Fidertanz) that also received a 10 for her powerful trot. Her trump of the day, Feodoro, received this ultimate grade for his excellent walk. The second highest points were awarded to his canter and perspective (both 9.2), the trot was graded an 8.2 and the submission earned an 8.5. The resulting average of 9.02 is currently good for the head position in the rankings. President of the judges Susanne Baarup: \u201cToday we also had a very good group with lots of talent and correct riding. We found a winner in a Feodoro, a fantastic horse that performed the test in such a nice manner. However, the performance depends on the form of the day and the final on Sunday includes two more flying changes and then it comes to the small details. We cannot wait till Sunday to see if the top placed horses can uphold their position or if other horses will surprise us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lordswood Dancing Diamond<\/p><\/div>\n

The Hannoverian Lordswood Dancing Diamond (Dancier x Wolkenstein II) received the highest grades for his gaits. Under the German rider Anne-Kathrin Pohlmeier the gelding moved to a 9.6 (trot), 9.4 (walk), 9.0 (canter). The black gelding-offspring also received a 9 for perspective but a 7.9 for the submission lowered the average to an 8.98. A shared second place with Quel Filou and Severo Jesus Jurado Lopez. Pohlmeier has been training the Dancier-offspring since he was three years old and also competed at last year\u2019s world championships. Then the pair placed third after the qualifications, but the tension in the final ruined their chances for a medal. This year Lordswood Dancing Diamond and Anne-Kathrin have another chance to obtain a medal, last year in Warendorf the pair claimed the title of the five-year-olds. Pohlmeier:\u00a0\u201cTo set such a score at this event feels super. Lordswood Dancing Diamond really put up a fight for me today, what a wonderful horse. He does anything for me. I did not anticipate such a result, but of course I secretly hoped for it. Now I have to focus on the final.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Australian Briana Burgess rode the KWPN-bred Gerjon (Jazz x Don Primero) to the fourth position. The top 12 of the intermediate ranking list is automatically placed for the final on Sunday. The top 3 of the small final tomorrow will be added to that starting list.
